Child Aphasia

It is complex disorder that is caused by damage to parts of the brain that controls language and speech.

This disorder affects the child's ability to express herself through words and understand the speech of other people. The severity of the problem depend on the extent of the damage as well as the location of the damage.

Cause of Aphasia:

The leading cause of Aphasia is brain injury, brain infection, brain tumor or bleeding in the brain.

Diagnosis of the disease:

The child will then be assessed on Auditory Comprehension, verbal expression. Reading and writing ability and functional communication.

Down Syndrome

It is genetic disorder associated with physical growth delays, mild to moderate intellectual disability and characteristic facial features.

Most of children with down syndrome learn to speak and will use speech as their primary means of communication, they will understand language and have the desire to communicate well before they are able to speak.


A developmental disorder of variable severity that is characterized by difficulty in social interaction and communication and by restricted or repetitive patterns of though and behaviour.

Cerebral Palsy

A condition marked by impaired muscle coordination (spastic paralysis) and other disabilities, typically caused by damage to the brain before or at brain.

Birth Asphyxia

Asphyxia means lack of oxygen and blood flows to the brain, birth asphyxia happens when a baby's brain and other organs do not get enough oxygen and nutrients before, during a right after birth, without oxygen and nutrients, cells cannot work properly, waste products (acids) build up in the cells and cause damage.
